Our gallery spaces are currently under construction with an anticipated re-opening in 2017. During this time, we're  a museum without walls, built with offsite events, collaborative exhibitions and family focused fun in your community.

  • July 29 - Lives, Legacies & Legends of the Calgary Fire Brigade

    A walking tour of the Union Cemetery to share the history of early CFD, and the impact Chief Smart had on both the department and Calgarians. 10:00 - 11:30 AM.

  • July 24 - Sketch Club: Tripods & Tombstones!

    THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED Would you like to learn some tips on how to take great photographs? Give photographer and local historical buff Orlo Tveter a shot and he can teach you some snappy tricks while you learn a bit about the firefighters at rest in the cemetery. 

  • July 2-12 - Draft Horse Town!

    The Museum's Smart Brigade, 1908 Waterous, White Wings  & Mobile Museum at the Stampede.  Sketch Club @1 - 2 pm daily.
